1. Who you are contracting with
The internship programme is provided and certified by Data Expert Technologies Pvt. Ltd., of Raj Nagar Part 2, Palam Colony, New Delhi. Your acceptance letter, consent letter and certificate are issued in its name.
This portal is built and operated by Data Expert ICT, a sole proprietorship (Udyam UDYAM-BR-24-0044406; Shops & Establishment TBSE_REG/2025/10046), which also receives the registration fee and issues any refund due to you.
We tell you this for a practical reason as much as a legal one: your bank or card statement will show Data Expert ICT, not Data Expert Technologies. That is the correct charge for this registration — please do not report it as unrecognised.
In these terms “we” and “us” mean both businesses together, and “you” means the student using the portal. Either can be reached at info@dataexpert.net.in.
By registering, paying or using this portal you agree to these terms.
2. Who may register
You may register only if:
- you are 18 years of age or older;
- you are a genuine student of the institution you select; and
- the details you submit are your own and are true.
Registering using another student's records, or with false details, is a breach of these terms. We may cancel any account and withdraw any letter obtained that way.
3. What we provide
We provide:
- verification of your student record against the roll your college has given us;
- an internship acceptance letter and, where your college requires one, a consent letter;
- access to a structured skilling programme of 120 Hours — weekly material, assessments, results and a retest process.
What we do not provide. We are a training and internship-facilitation provider. We do not guarantee employment, a stipend, a placement, or any particular result, and nothing on this portal should be read as such a promise. We are not a university and we do not award degrees or academic credit. Whether your institution recognises this internship for credit is entirely your institution's decision, not ours.
4. Your account
Keep your password confidential and do not let anyone else use your account. Tell us promptly at info@dataexpert.net.in if you think someone else has access to it.
If your college sets your initial password from your date of birth, change it after you first sign in.
5. Fees and payment
Registration carries a one-time fee, inclusive of taxes where applicable. The amount depends on how you register: students coming through a partner college pay the rate agreed with that institution, which differs between colleges, and everyone else pays the standard rate for general registration.
The exact amount is shown to you before you pay, and again in the payment window. It is calculated on our servers from the registration route you came through, never taken from your browser.
Payments are processed by Razorpay. There is no subscription and no recurring charge. Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
6. Assessments and honest work
Assessments must be your own work. Impersonation, sharing question papers, or submitting another person's answers may result in a nil mark, cancellation of your registration, or withdrawal of any letter or result already issued. Where a retest is available, the process on your dashboard is the only route to it.
7. Acceptable use
You must not:
- attempt to access another student's record, account or documents;
- probe, scan or interfere with the security of the portal, or bypass rate limits;
- copy, resell or redistribute the course material, which remains our property;
- alter, forge or misrepresent any letter or result issued through this portal.
8. Our documents
Letters we issue carry a reference number and a verification link. They are valid only in the form we issued them. We may withdraw a letter that was obtained through false information, and may tell the institution it was addressed to that we have done so.
9. Intellectual property
The portal, its course material and its letter templates belong to us. You get a personal, non-transferable right to use the material for your own learning during the programme. Your own data remains yours; see our Privacy Policy.
10. Availability
We aim to keep the portal available but do not promise uninterrupted service. We may suspend access for maintenance, or to protect the platform, and may change or discontinue parts of the programme. If we become unable to provide the programme you registered for, we will refund your fee — see our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
11. Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded — including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of opportunity, placement or earnings, or for any decision your college, university or an employer makes about your internship. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount of the registration fee you actually paid.
12. Ending your registration
You may stop using the portal at any time and ask us to delete your account, subject to the retention we explain in the privacy policy. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms, and will tell you why.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and we will email you where a change materially affects you. Continuing to use the portal after a change means you accept it.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Gaya, Bihar have jurisdiction, save that nothing prevents you from bringing consumer proceedings where the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 permits you to do so.
15. Grievances
Write to info@dataexpert.net.in. We acknowledge within 2 working days and aim to resolve within 15 days, as the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 require. Full contact details are on our contact page.
